Focus Sri Lanka was created to spotlight the most interesting, and marketable Sri Lankan products available for immediate export to the United States; particularly, those products that will most appeal to buyers and consumers in the Western region of the US. Focus Sri Lanka will showcase the best products from a variety of industries where Sri Lanka has a known specialty, including: Fashion and textiles, teas, spices, decorative accessories, gifts, gem and jewellery, pottery etc.

Also, batiks, sarees, sarongs, books on Sri Lanka, Sri Lankan art, recycled paper, pressed flowers and handmade handcrafts and other unique products.

The U.S. marketplace offers huge opportunities for Sri Lankan manufacturers. The gifts and accessories market alone in the US is a $70Billion dollar industry. And just the state of California makes up the 5th largest economy in the world. California has a well deserved reputation around the world as a place where trends are cultivated and germinated. Trends born in California can have a "ripple" effect around the world. This is a great place to showcase Sri Lankan products and companies!

Our highly charged, transactional show floor will be "cash and carry." We are encouraging the exhibitors to bring not just samples - but actual merchandise to sell.
 
This exciting event will be aggressively promoted to buyers, press and attendees through advertising, media partnerships, direct mail campaigns, email blasts and collaborative marketing agreements with synergistic media outlets and trade shows. There will be no admission fee for qualified buyers, who will register in advance on the show website - www.FocusSriLanka.com 

The cost to participate in Focus Sri Lanka is US$1000. This includes a 10' x 10' exhibit space, 1 6' table, two chairs and a waste paper basket. Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first-served basis.

Focus Sri Lanka will be a wonderful opportunity to expand Sri Lankan trade with the United States - and gain valuable exposure for our most innovative products and exporters. In addition to the Expo, we are planning a cocktail reception in the exhibit hall the evening before for VIP buyers, press, dignitaries and Sri Lankans living in the area.
