Tea Queen Beauty Pageant Info

We look forward to your participation in the Focus Sri Lanka Tea Queen Beauty Pageant!

This will be an exciting opportunity to compete for prizes and recognition, while at the same time adding an interesting element to the Cultural Show.

Grand Prize Winner will receive a round trip air ticket to Sri Lanka and a weekend accommodation in a Five Star hotel and a tea plantation tour.

First runner up will receive a round trip ticket to New York City including weekend accommodations. 

Second runner up will receive a Noritaki Lanka porcelain dinner set made in Sri Lanka.

Young ladies ages 17 and up are eligible to participate.

Please submit three recent pictures, including a headshot and full body shot.

Contestants agree to compete in a traditional Sri Lankan sari, which will be provided by us. You will need to stitch your own jacket. 
 
The contest is limited to 15 contestants. Deadline to apply is May 15, 2007

The judges will be independent, non-Sri Lankan women, including wives of local diplomats.
